Be kind to readers and authors

Criticise stories, not people. No harassment, threats, hate based on who someone is, or attempts to expose someone's private information.

Mark spoilers

Use the spoiler setting for anything a reader would not want to learn early.

Keep it honest and legal

No spam, scams, fake reviews or impersonation. Do not post pirated stories or links to them, or other content that infringes someone's rights.

No sexual content involving minors, ever. Adult themes in discussion of a story are allowed when they are relevant and marked.

Reporting and blocking

Report anything that breaks these guidelines: every review, list, post and profile has a Report option. A moderator reviews each report and hides what breaks the rules.

Block any reader to stop seeing what they write; they will not see yours either. You can unblock them in Settings.

For anything urgent, write to support@ficlore.com.

What happens when rules are broken

Content can be hidden. Accounts that break the guidelines repeatedly or seriously can be suspended or removed.
