Ficlore is a service for discovering, tracking and discussing web fiction. It is run by an individual under the name Ficlore ("Ficlore", "we"), and these terms are an agreement between you and Ficlore. You can reach us at support@ficlore.com.
By creating an account or using Ficlore you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use Ficlore.
You need to be at least 13 years old, or older where the law where you live requires it, to create an account.
Keep your sign-in details to yourself. You are responsible for what happens under your account. Tell us at once if you think someone else is using it.
You can delete your account at any time in Settings. What deletion removes is described in the Privacy Policy.
Rating, reviewing, making lists, taking part in discussions and keeping your reading records on Ficlore are free, and they will stay free.
Ficlore does not host the stories it lists. Titles, descriptions, covers and links belong to their authors and the platforms that publish them, and are shown with permission or as factual reference. Reading happens on the original platform.
Information about a work (status, chapter counts, tags, content notes) is provided as is and can be incomplete or out of date. Report anything wrong and we will correct it.
You keep the rights to the ratings, reviews, lists, notes and other content you create. You give Ficlore a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to store, display and distribute that content on Ficlore, for as long as it stays on the service.
Everything you post must follow the Community Guidelines. We may hide or remove content that does not, and suspend accounts that break them repeatedly or seriously.
Do not scrape, copy or redistribute Ficlore's catalogue in bulk, interfere with the service, try to access other people's accounts, or use Ficlore to break the law or anyone's rights.
Ficlore may offer a paid subscription with extra features. Its price, billing period and what it includes are shown before you buy.
Orders placed on the Ficlore website are processed by Creem, operated by Armitage Labs OÜ (Estonia), which acts as Merchant of Record: Creem is the seller of the subscription, takes the payment, sends the receipt, and handles sales tax and VAT. Creem's buyer terms also apply to your purchase: https://www.creem.io/buyer-terms.
A subscription renews automatically at the end of each billing period and is charged to the payment method you used, until you cancel.
You can cancel at any time. Cancelling stops the next renewal; the subscription stays active until the end of the period you have already paid for.
If we change the price of a subscription, we will tell you by email at least 30 days before the new price applies to your next renewal, so you can cancel first. A price change never affects a period you have already paid for.
If a renewal payment fails, Creem will try it again. If it still has not gone through 14 days after the renewal date, the subscription ends and your account returns to the free plan. Everything that is free stays as it is.
Refunds are covered by the Refund Policy.
If you subscribe through the App Store or Google Play, Apple or Google sells you the subscription and is responsible for billing, managing and cancelling it, and for refunds, under its own terms. Manage it in your Apple or Google account settings.
We may change Ficlore or these terms. If a change matters, we will tell you before it takes effect; continuing to use Ficlore after that means you accept it.
You can stop using Ficlore at any time. We may suspend or end access for anyone who breaks these terms.
Ficlore is provided as is and as available, without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows. To the extent the law allows, Ficlore is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for content on third-party platforms. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have that cannot be limited by contract.
